Thursday we took our Mitosis summative.  The rest of the week and Monday of next week we are watching Osmosis Jones.

Today we are continuing to work on a mitosis diagram.  The students need to fold a piece of paper into 6 squares. There is a picture at the bottom of this blog to help with the drawings.  Please follow the instructions below.

Please be sure to show the nuclear membrane, centrioles, chromosomes, and spindle fibers.

Students have been reading about Mitosis in a class set of text books.  They will use the information to complete a mitosis drawing  that will be used as a homework grade.  The directions for the drawings are listed below.

Happy December!
Today students completed our osmosis demonstration.  Students saw that water entered the cell through osmosis.  See the picture below.The egg on the left shows what our egg looked like today. 
The egg on the right is how the egg looked before putting it in water.


We also completed a written review for our test Tuesday.  The answer key is below.
