Thursday & Friday March 22-23

Yesterday we took our summative.  Students should get the results back tomorrow.  Today and tomorrow we are watching a video, Dante's Peak, in which students will analyze certain scenes and determine whether those scenes are factual or fictional.

Students read through statements and had to determine whether the statements were evidence to support the idea of continents moving or not.  They also needed to complete a worksheet that discusses the idea of continental drift, who developed the idea, and evidence that supports the idea.

Today we continued creating a Geologic Timeline.  Students are using a website that condenses Earth's history into 24 hours.  The directions are posted below.  The link to the website is also posted.
