Wednesday November 28

Today we participated in an activity called "Pass it on".  This activity demonstrates how quickly a virus can pass through a community.  We then took time to come up with 3 ways we can prevent spreading disease in school.
1.  Wash hands!
2.  Use a tissue (cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze).
3.  Avoid touching your eyes and mouth

The rest of the period students were given time to complete the reading and worksheet from our class set of science books.  The reading and answer key is posted below. Where you can find each answer within the reading is also posted.

Tuesday November 27

There was a substitute today.  Students spent most of the time completing a worksheet on the immune system.  They read pages 173-176 in the class set of science books we have.  Students will get time in class tomorrow to complete the worksheet.

If students finished early they were able to fill in a notes worksheet using the notes posted below.
