Immune System Notes

Over the next couple of days students will learn about our body's immune system.  Students will be given a "fill in the blank" study guide to take them through the notes.  We will begin with an activity that shows how quickly a virus can spread through a population.

Virtual Assignment and Immune System Articles

Two articles were assigned on Google Classroom.  These articles will introduce you to topics about the immune system.  When you click on the assignment you will see a message that asks how you want to sign in and it will give you several options.  Choose "Clever".  From there it will direct you to sign in with your google sign in.  The article on the Flu shot is due Tuesday.  The Virtual Day article is due Monday Nov.  25.

Thursday November 14

Today we completed labeling the organs in the Respiratory, Cardiovascular and Excretory Systems.
Students can use the following images to label their diagrams and their notes to fill in the functions of each organ.  Functions of organs are also on the flash cards in the quizlet link.

Friday November 8

We are using part of the day for students complete a coloring diagram of the Digestive System.  Below is a labeled diagram to help the students correctly label the organs.  Students should also use notes and previous blogs to find the functions of each organ.
Students had the rest of the time to work on their Digestive System Projects due Tuesday Nov. 12.

Thursday November 7

Students continue to work on the Digestive System Project (posted on Google Classroom and yesterday's blog).  Here is the answer key for the Digestive system Webquest.  Students need to check over their answers.

Wednesday November 6

Today we introduced the Digestive System Project.  The project is on google classroom.  Students should add/created a google slides presentation within the assignment on google classroom(we did this in class).  The rubric was given in class, is posted on google classroom and is shown below.  The project is due Tuesday November 12.

Today we completed a Digestive system Webquest.  The worksheet is shown below.  The links are also provided at the end of the blog.  Please be specific in your answers.  The information you gather on this assignment will help you with your digestive system project.
