Step 1: State the problem as a question
Step 2: Research the problem
Step 3: Form a hypothesis an educated guess (If, then, because)
Step 4: Create procedures to test your hypothesis
Step 5: Perform experiment (Control your variables)
Step 6: Observe and record all results
Step 7: Interpret the data
Step 8: Conclusion (Communicate results: I think this means...)
