Yesterday we had a guest speaker. He spoke about what causes earthquakes, effects of earthquakes, earthquake safety, and why we have the chance of having a major earthquake here in Indiana.
Today we took time to plot the locations of volcanic and earthquake activity around the world. The coordinates for the locations are shown below. Students answered questions regarding the relationship between volcanic activity and tectonic plate boundaries. Pictures of the worksheets are posted below. If students finish their work early they should access the interactive links below.
